UPM participation in EUBCE 2021

The Agro-Energy Group of the Technical University of Madrid (GA-UPM) presented a new contribution on Typha domingensis to the world’s largest biomass conference, the European Biomass Conference and Exhibition (https://www.eubce.com/ ) on 27 April 2021. The title of the work was: ‘Growth analysis of Typha domingensis after the transplanting to a floating system for biomass production’. It was an experimental work carried out with the support of Life Biomass C+ and the Master in Agro-Environmental Technology for Sustainable Agriculture of the Technical University of Madrid (UPM) (https://www.etsiaab.upm.es/Docencia/Masteres/Especializacion/Tapas).

The work was presented as a 3-minute oral presentation in addition to a poster presentation. At the closing ceremony of the Conference, the poster by GA-UPM won the EUBCE 2021 POSTER AWARD in Topic 1, Sustainable resources for decarbonising the economy.

Like in previous GA-UPM contributions to the editions of 2019 and 2020 EUBCE, an article was prepared and submitted for publication in the conference proceedings. EUBCE Proceedings have a full free access policy; the edition of 2021 will be available soon on the Proceedings website (https://www.etaflorence.it/proceedings/ ).
