Biomass harvesting from Lake Vegoritida and the natural wastewater treatment system near Vegora, Amyntaio, Greece
CERTH team conducted the harvesting of Typha domingensis established in Green Floating Filters in Lake Vegoritida and in a natural wastewater treatment nearby. The plants were grown satisfactory In relation to time duration that were in the waterbodies. The harvested biomass will be treated accordingly to the CERTH’s lab in order to be sent to CARTIF partners for the bioprocessing activities and bioethanol production.
