Life Biomass at RRB 21

The results of Life Biomass project were presented in the 17th Renewable Resources & Biorefineries Congress (RRB '21)  hold in Aveiro (Portugal) last 6-8 of September.

The presentation, carried out by Raúl Piñero Hernanz and A. Lorenzo, J.M. Sanz was entitled: "Carbon-negative production process of second-generation bioethanol from Typha biomass: an innovative pilot-scale integrated solution for waste water treatment and 2G biorefineries"

The RRB is a well-known scientific congress that organizes the university of Ghent. It is very focused on biorefinery and renewable resources exploitation. In addition to the book of abstracts and proceedings, there are some journals that collaborate with the congress that will release a special issues in 2022 featuring selected papers of the conferences.
